Asia has always been a land of mystique and fascination for Western Civilization. The Far East 🔍
developed almost entirely separate from the West 🔍, and as such, it's customs, arts & languages are vastly
different. It coves huge tracts of land with breathtaking, varied natural beauty complimented by
both ancient and modern man made wonders.

There are 9 Geographical 1 hour Zones in Asia*
spanning UTC+4 - UTC+12, plus multiple fractional offset zones,
with India at UTC+5 1/2, Nepal at UTC+5 3/4 & Myanmar at UTC 6 1/2
Within those UTC, however zones are mostly organized by country resulting in several dozen variously named time-zones.

- Most countries have 1 zone for whole state.
- China & India each have 1 zone despite spanning more than 15°s longitude.
- Indonesia and Mongolia each have 3 zones &
- Russia has 11 zones total but only 9 can be considered in Asia
*This calculation depends on were you cut off the continent (how much of Russia you include) and weather you include the overlapping fractional offsets as separate zones. Some people calculate the total up to as many as 13 Zones.
