      - Greek Aigaion, after the mythological character King Aegeus said to have thrown himself

to his death in the eponymous 🔍 region of the Mediterranean 🔍 when told his son, 

Theseus, had died. [The seas's 🔍  name is also the source of ARCHIPELAGO 🔍, due to the

numerous Greek island chains within it.
